Mr. Hiroshi Kinoshita (not his real name)

male, Age:25 self-employed Kobe City

To all the staff of the "Paper-plane" project and visitors to the home page of the "Paper-plane", I hope all of you are keeping well in spite of the lingering summer heat. After a long interval I send a letter.
First of all, Ms. Yatsuga, thank you for sending me a post card. You are always so kind to think about us in Kobe and send us your warm messages and sunflower seeds. Thank you very much. I planted the seeds that Ms Yatsuga sent me before in my garden and in the flowerbed of the temporary housing near my house. But regrettably none have come up yet.
It is natural that people should move out of temporary housing. But empty prefabricated houses make me feel a little lonely, though I don't know why. Now in Kobe the citizens' movement has become active, protesting the planned construction of Kobe airport and requesting the holding of a citywide referendum on the controversial project, though this may be not know outside Kobe.
I am also opposed to the plan. I think the opinions and data by the pro-airport campaigners are neither persuasive nor concrete. Anyway I take it for granted that the municipal government should ask the citizens' opinion because the project is municipal. Please keep your eyes on the Kobe airport though we can't say yet if a referendum will be held or not.
