Ms. Tomi Mitsuoka (not her real name)

Female,Age: 75,Unemployed A Temporary dwelling in Kobe City

The rainy season is over and the real summer has come. I have failed to write for a while. How are you, everyone? I'm not so bad though I feel a little bit dizzy as my blood pressure has gone down to 92.
I planted the seeds of morning glories and sunflowers in front of my house, which you sent to me. Now every morning thirty or forty of the morning glories come into blossom with purple or purple and white stripes. It is my pleasure to count them every day. When I water them in the morning and evening, their leaves get refreshed and they look pleased. As for sunflowers, six have come up. Two of them have grown to about 2 meters and have had fourteen flowers in bloom one after another. Four of them have grown to 1 and a half meters and now they have some buds. When I go for a walk, I say something to them, like g How tall you have become!h and g Have a lot of flowers!h Everyone admires them.
I have not been able to find a permanent residence yet. It makes me feel depressed to think how long I will be in a temporary house. Today I feel a little better and inclined to write a letter. I will be seventy-six on 8th August. I never dreamed that I should live until seventy-six as I had been told by a doctor that I would not live until fifty. Members of gpaper-planeh are so kind and it means a great deal to old like me.
I check my mailbox every day and look forward to your letters. So please write to me again.
I'm sorry for not sending a letter for a while, as I have been ill in bed.
